Great article and very timely topic.  In the past, I've had some pretty bad experiences with pre-inspections.  The seller would inspect the home and then the buyer's inspector would generate a different list of items needing repair!  It would often cause confusion when hammering out the details of the inspection.

However, because of today's stricter lending practices it may behoove sellers to have their homes inspected before putting their home on the market.</description>
