Recently, I have been doing some consultative work with Verity Credit Union and I was asked to be a Real Estate contributor to their new blog: SpendSaveLive. Hey, I’m a featured blogger! In the June edition you can read my post entitled, “Dissecting the Cost of Selling Your Home.”

In the interest of full disclosure I must tell you that I’m particularly fond of Credit Unions. I happen to be a member of Verity and Watermark. Did you know that during the last depression, people turned to credit unions as a sanctuary for their wealth? Credit Unions are experiencing growth today because of the recession. In my opinion the reason is simple: Credit Unions are far more vested in their members and they have a deeper commitment to helping the members succeed.
